I don't wanna speculate, but maybe he fell off the wagon...and was doing drugs again...you just never know.

According to late reports his recovery looks to be so much better than originally feared. Wonderful news. He'll be rejoining the project band he, Alice Cooper, and Johnny Depp have been involved in called the "Hollywood Vampires", celebrating music of the artists best known for that party scene (and the subsequent name given them) in the 60's and early 70's.
