    My latest model...King Kong 1933

From the "Legends of Stop Motion" series...Kong is a hefty 8 inches tall.

I painted him up in classic silver screen B/W...I have 16 more to go in this series!

I'm loving it too. If there's ever made a full body Kong it'd be cool to see. It's a great bust and looks so much like the real deal that I'd love to see the rest of a stop-motion Kong, haha.

(My many garage kits remain boxed up. Oh, well. Some day. The only series of kits I'm buying new are: Batman 66. Seems like a lot of delays getting more of those out by Moebius. The only Trek I lack is Ambassador Spock and I continue to look for AMt Star Wars kits. Finished buying 007 and Apes.)

I appreciate you sharing your projects on the board.

Thanks guys! The one I really can't wait to do is Gwangi...it's my all time favorite Harryhausen movie. I'm hoping for a Blu-ray release soon.

THAT is the kind of work that screams "love." You're really knocking it out of the park on these, Dwayne!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Excellent job. Particularly on the eyes.

Kong looks great! I'm wondering what color you'll use for Gwangi--it looks grayish purple on film.
