Of the chains, I like Round Table. Say, does anyone know if California Pizza Kitchen restaurants are still open? There used to be one by my place when I lived in San Clemente.

For chain pizza, I'm a fan of Round Table as well. Been eatin' that stuff my whole life.

Ive been up and down the East coast and what you folks consider pizza is scary. Nothing beats true NY style pizza.

And dont even get me started on "REAL" Buffalo wings. Ya got to live here to appreciate that.

Note Florida had the worst pizza in my travels.

I'd say the best "chain" around Columbus is probably Donatos, but I've yet to find a great pizza place here, chain or local.

I avoid pizza chains like the plague. Why get that slop when you can go to a real pizzeria?

Although when I was stationed at Ft. Benning in '92-'95, where there were no pizzerias, I was a huge fan of Papa John's. And while doing some training at Penn State in '03 I got to have Papa John's again. Good stuff for a chain outfit.

Here in MA I would say Bertucci's. They have brick oven pizza.

Round Table is the best for me (although the downside is they are the most expensive). I believe they are mostly in CA. I've lived on the East Coast, in the South, and now on the West Coast and I had never heard of them before moving here.

Favorite combination: Thick crust with Pesto Sauce instead of tomato sauce, with Pepperoni & Black Olives. YUM!!!

We have a pizza chain here called Panagopolous (or Panago) that I like pretty well. I got tired of Pizza Hut's doughy, thick crust.

Again, we are talking chain pizza joints here, not authentic Italian pizzerias.

Besides, THICK Chicago style pizza punks that thin New York thingie you guys have there.

You too deserve a big HELLO!!!

This notion that only New York and Chicago have the great pizzas is just plain nuts. Any place with a large Italian population also offers great authentic pizza.

San Francisco has some of the best pizza around...and even in Oakland, we have Zachary's Chicago pizza, even the New York Times gave it rave reviews.
