Hector, I can feel your fanaticism, all the way in Ohio. Notice in my post I didn't criticize anyone. I'm a lifelong NBA fan, and even though my team is one of the haves right now, it doesn't mean I don't pay attention to what everyone else feels. This trend, and yes, Lebron is included, is dangerous for the league in the long run.
And, I actually understand Wade's move more. He kept getting put on the back burner. Riley's a snake pile salesman. I think Wade was tired of promises to take care of him for past sacrifices. I also understand Miami's perspective. It might be an okay move for them. They weren't going to win anything anyway. This could clear space for future moves next year.

Of course you wouldn't, you hail from Cleveland, come on, man, lol.

I'm sorry, but that sentence is bordering on Pinnochioville...come on man...where that heck did that Brothers' Grimm tale came from?

We love the Warriors. Trust me, what everyone agrees on here...is that the Bay Area HATES LeBron and company...we have vengeance in our veins...we want YOUR BLOOD...

Wade, took eight million dollars more...and bailed to Chicago.

Yeah, that's more honorable than what Durant did (he took less $ to go to the Warriors), sure...lol.

Durant wants to win, who can blame him. Wade wants to provide Gabrielle Union with more diamonds...

    Dwayne Wade to Chicago.

    The NBA is ridiculous.

Another "This was tough but I feel I've made the right choice".

These guys get fed their lines by some great spin doctors.

Come on, Hec. Your previous post was all about winning above all and here's KD sowing doubt about his commitment by talking to Draymond all year.

Hec - it's really not about the Warriors. I assumed they were getting Dirk as he made more sense. Everbody would have been cool with that move even with Dirk coming off his best season in years.

It's about Durant being a former MVP joining a defending champion. It's the equivalent of jumping to the front of the line when you were already in third place. If KD stayed, OKC was going to get Horford. Al didn't sign because KD wouldn't commit. Put Horford on last years OKC, along with Oladipo, and Warriors are out of contention. If KD went to the Clips or Spurs, Warriors were done.

But because KD's mentally soft he's continuing a chain reaction LeBron tried to correct. The league is tired of teams tanking it season after season just to draft high and hope to have a good, cheap squad for three years, as it's not paying off. Look at Philly or CLE pre-LeBron. It will be a miracle for Minnesota or Bucks to keep all those young players and they can't get the necessary veterans to consider going there and helping them move out of the first round.

As for the Heat analogy...nothing was guaranteed to work. Remember, Big3 Heat lost to The Mavs their first year. That's why I don't see this paying off. Like Cavs did two years ago, Warriors have to spend this entire season adjusting to each other.

I'll take the bet. We'll do it before training camp starts.
