It's bittersweet to me...I don't care about Barnes and Ezeli, they were terrible in the Finals, good riddance.

But I'm going to sorely miss Bogut...great rim protector, albeit injury prone, plus he's not getting any younger...still, he's a good bloke, great sense of humor, great teammate...the Warriors are going to miss his presence...I will too...

Unless another contender makes a mega deal as a result. Even then...still no.

I know, when a superstar of that caliber joins your team...you don't care how he got here, you just care that he's here...

Titles are still not a sure thing, although the Warriors should be favored...they will be still be needing a new serviceable center.

Shaq didn't't join a record setting team, though. He came to a good Lakers team with a young rising, but not yet superstar Kobe Bryant. He also hadn't been beat down by the Lakers. The Heat thing was a necessity due to a clash of 2 giant egos. I wish he had stayed with The Magic, too but it's not quite the same.

It's Sad most of today's athletes just don't have that attitude anymore.
I blame Shaq for them being like that. Couldn't make it with the Magic,so he jumped to the Lakers, then to the Heat.

On the flip side...the Warriors got weaker in the paint...looks like both Bogut and Ezeli will be gone.

However with all that offensive firepower...maybe they don't need a center, but maybe the new rookie they drafted, we shall see.

Barnes is going to the Mavs..

He turned down more money...to me, that's refreshing...

BTW, it's a two year deal...

Kinda lame. You join the team you choked against to form a super team. As a lifelong NBA fan, I'm disappointed. I was hoping he'd stay with OKC. I wanted to see them be able to finish what they started. They had a championship caliber team. As a Cavs fan, when Lebron left, even I had to acknowledge our roster wasn't quite good enough, though I was furious at the time. I like Durant, but I have always felt he lacks a little heart. This makes him seem like a bandwagon jumper. I will say, barring an injury, they are a lock for a championship in the near future.
