    Centenary Copa América

I'm surprised none here commented anything about this fantastic soccer tournament. For the 1st time all of the big names from Concacaf and Conmebol are playing together!

And tomorrow the US squad led by Jurgen Klinsmann is going to face Mexico for the 3rd place and they have big chances to win! Final match will be next Sunday.

There's been brilliant soccer playing, and I dare to say a bit more quality than what's been seeing these days on the EURO 2016.

Am I the only one excited about this special centenary tournament here?

The incredible Lionel MESSI surpassed Gabriel Batistuta's goal scoring record for Argentina... amazing achievement that is!

USA is playing Colombia in the third place match, not Mexico.

I have been watching...I have also been watching UEFA Euro tourney.

Didn't post it because I know there's not much interest in soccer here. I mean, I did somehow got the NBA Finals thread rolling here, but that's because basketball is a lot more popular than soccer in the States...and obviously, most members here are American.

Messi is mesmerizing to watch, and a great role model...unlike the temper tantrum whiney Ronaldo.

Chile is playing great...but so is Argentina...and they have a healthy Messi...

    Argentina 2, Chile 1

Haha. You're both right & correct, Hector. It will be Colombia. Oh, and yeah, MESSI what a player!!!

Chile beats Argentina again for its second straight Copa America title.

Argentina is ranked first in the world. Chile is no joke.

        Congrats, Mongoose!

Messi missing on the penalty kick stage, wow...that was a killer...

It's cool to have the chance to watch the game and the news with all this Champion fuss. Still, it has this bittersweet feeling. Specially over Messi's decision to quit the Argentinian squad for good. I think the great Mascherano would follow him out. That would be one HUGE loss for the sport itself, and it would also make the next Confederation and World cup tournaments less interesting in the end.
