Beatles Yellow Submarine 50th anniversary Hot Wheels

Just picked up a set of these at WallyWorld, $.94 each. There is an actual Yellow Submarine piece too, on the regular blue cards, making a complete set seven vehicles, but I haven't found one yet.
I think The Blue Meanie is my favorite one.

sweet, thanks for the heads up. I had not heard about these. unfortunately the nearest Wally World is 45 minutes. I check online and they don't have them on their site, so I just bought a set on ebay. they look pretty cool

I hadn't heard about them either. I know they usually release a monthly theme series, like the Batman vs Superman cars, or Star Wars. Last month was classic Captain America comics covers which was pretty cool.
If you don't see these on the pegs, check in the dump bin in the aisle. That's where I found them.
Usually they have a supply of these cars, but being the Beatles I think they may go faster. Gotta find the Sub!

I really like those, but Hot Wheels and Beatles collectors are as nuts as we are, so finding them is a store is going to be a nightmare. If anyone knows a reasonable place to order them online, please post.

Nice, I had no idea prior to reading this other vehicles were made. Up till now I just thought a submarine was being made. Nonetheless, I haven't seen any Beatles product on the shelves, but there are many Hot Wheels collectors in my town and I'm sure the cool stuff gets scooped on the weekdays.

I had seen these about a month ago, a friend sent me a link to an ebay auction from China, and I think the art on the cards are really cool....but the not liking the vehicles. BTW, it's NOT the 50th Anniversary of the film. It may be the 50th Anniversary of the song, it was on 'Revolver' but the film came out in '68. I enjoyed what Corgi did more than 10 years ago with the re-issue of the Sub and the additions to the line. This thing that Hot Wheels is doing just does absolutely nothing for me. If I find them for 94 cents each I'll buy them...but they will never be displayed the same way I have my Corgi's.

I see on ebay that the scalpers have been scooping them up as usual. I ordered a set on ebay for around $19 shipped but if I happen to be near a Walmart I will go in and see if I can snag another set to open at .94 each

That's right good point, Revolver came out in 1966, not the film. Yeah, if I can find these for a buck a piece, fine, but I wouldn't pay much more than that.

I like the sub itself but the generic cars don't grab me.

We will never see them. We never got the Batman '66 set in any stores here. Or the Star Trek set. So I have no doubt I'll never see them in store.

In Canada, regular Hot Wheels cars at Walmart generally go for about $2.50 these days. (which is what the Batman V Superman, and Star Wars sets of cars are going for)
