I don't want to believe it, but yes, it makes you think.
Players themselves are not in on it...but the higher ups might instruct refs to blow the whistle at certain points to dictate the game, that's plausible. Yes, it's about the money...the NBA Finals has been a ratings bonanza...ABC wants this to go a full seven games.
But I firmly believe, that now is the true final game...that the refs will be completely neutral...and let the true deserving better team win.

There never should have been a game 6 in the first place, Warriors should have wrapped it up at home in game 5
I swear these finals and even playoff series are fixed between the league and the networks, more games, the better
for network ratings
How does a team blow out their opponents by 33 points, then 2 nights later they get blown out by 30 by the same team?
I could understand if these games were decided by just a couple of points, then the outcome could go either way, but to
dominate one night then get dominated 2 nights later, just boggles the mind, the same players are playing each game?Leave a comment:

Well, now they do... A few years ago, fans were burning him in effigy for "defecting" to Florida. Whatev. Grown men with toys and comics are immature, but grown men worshipping athletes is acceptable machismo. Silly double-standard.
I will say, just for Cleveland's sake, a win would be awesome, but I can't comment on the skills involved.Leave a comment:

People might not be impressed with Bogut's statistical numbers...but he is a rim protector...blocks and changes shots in the paint pretty effectively, pretty good passer too....LeBron is just slicing through the little guys like butter. Not saying Bogut would've changed things last night...but he would've deterred LeBron a bit, maybe enough to make the game a little closer.
I still feel confident the Warriors will win at home...and become back to back two-time NBA Champions.Leave a comment:

I don't care for or follow sports at all, and being a northeast Ohio native I am so SICK of hearing about LeBron James. They act like he's the second coming of Christ around here.Leave a comment:

This is the closest Cleveland has been to a championship in recent memory. I'm pulling for the Warriors because they build through the draft and play the right way and I can't stand Queen Shames but at least there is some excitement in Cleveland for a change.
I'll have my popcorn out on Sunday.Leave a comment:

NBA Finals
Not making excuses about game 6, but Curry was getting mugged out there...I thought 80s basketball was no longer allowed.
Also...Curry made some clean takeaway steals...I counted at least three...and were called fouls...no wonder he got plssed and threw his mouthpiece at a fan (he apologized).
Having said that...Harrison Barnes will not be a Warrior next season...what a no show he has been, completely useless...2-22 these last two games? I'd love for them to get Durant, but I don't think he's leaving the Thunder, at least not yet. The one I'd really go after would be Hassan Whiteside, dude is a stud. Bogut is not getting any younger and is injury prone. Ezeli is decent, but will never be a dominant center. Varaejo is done. Spreights is just a good backup. The Warriors badly need a new center...they need SIZE...they need a BIG man who can gallop the floor with them...they need a young and in his prime rim protector...and that is none other than unrestricted free agent Hassan Whiteside.
I hear the Spurs will go after him too...if they get him, game over...unless the Warriors somehow land Durant.
LeBron, I can't stand the dude...but gotta give it to him, dude is a beast...
COME ON WARRIORS, WIN THIS BLOODY THING ALREADY!!!
