    NBA Finals

Not making excuses about game 6, but Curry was getting mugged out there...I thought 80s basketball was no longer allowed.

Also...Curry made some clean takeaway steals...I counted at least three...and were called fouls...no wonder he got plssed and threw his mouthpiece at a fan (he apologized).

Having said that...Harrison Barnes will not be a Warrior next season...what a no show he has been, completely useless...2-22 these last two games? I'd love for them to get Durant, but I don't think he's leaving the Thunder, at least not yet. The one I'd really go after would be Hassan Whiteside, dude is a stud. Bogut is not getting any younger and is injury prone. Ezeli is decent, but will never be a dominant center. Varaejo is done. Spreights is just a good backup. The Warriors badly need a new center...they need SIZE...they need a BIG man who can gallop the floor with them...they need a young and in his prime rim protector...and that is none other than unrestricted free agent Hassan Whiteside.

I hear the Spurs will go after him too...if they get him, game over...unless the Warriors somehow land Durant.

LeBron, I can't stand the dude...but gotta give it to him, dude is a beast...

COME ON WARRIORS, WIN THIS BLOODY THING ALREADY!!!

This is the closest Cleveland has been to a championship in recent memory. I'm pulling for the Warriors because they build through the draft and play the right way and I can't stand Queen Shames but at least there is some excitement in Cleveland for a change.

I'll have my popcorn out on Sunday.

I don't care for or follow sports at all, and being a northeast Ohio native I am so SICK of hearing about LeBron James. They act like he's the second coming of Christ around here.

People might not be impressed with Bogut's statistical numbers...but he is a rim protector...blocks and changes shots in the paint pretty effectively, pretty good passer too....LeBron is just slicing through the little guys like butter. Not saying Bogut would've changed things last night...but he would've deterred LeBron a bit, maybe enough to make the game a little closer.

I still feel confident the Warriors will win at home...and become back to back two-time NBA Champions.

Well, now they do... A few years ago, fans were burning him in effigy for "defecting" to Florida. Whatev. Grown men with toys and comics are immature, but grown men worshipping athletes is acceptable machismo. Silly double-standard.

I will say, just for Cleveland's sake, a win would be awesome, but I can't comment on the skills involved.

There never should have been a game 6 in the first place, Warriors should have wrapped it up at home in game 5
I swear these finals and even playoff series are fixed between the league and the networks, more games, the better
              for network ratings

How does a team blow out their opponents by 33 points, then 2 nights later they get blown out by 30 by the same team?
I could understand if these games were decided by just a couple of points, then the outcome could go either way, but to
dominate one night then get dominated 2 nights later, just boggles the mind, the same players are playing each game?

I don't want to believe it, but yes, it makes you think.

Players themselves are not in on it...but the higher ups might instruct refs to blow the whistle at certain points to dictate the game, that's plausible. Yes, it's about the money...the NBA Finals has been a ratings bonanza...ABC wants this to go a full seven games.

But I firmly believe, that now is the true final game...that the refs will be completely neutral...and let the true deserving better team win.

Basketball is my all-time favorite sport. I'm rooting for GSW as Steve Kerr was a player in my town when he played in college and Steph Curry is an amazing scorer. I got to see Kerr and Sean Elliot and that team then play in person back in the day when coach Lute Olsen was in charge. Those guys did great work at San Antonio.
I'm not a Lebron hater, I have tremendous respect for him as he has made it to the Finals 6 times a row and continues to do so without injuring sidelining him. He is amazing. There is something really fishy about this Finals though. I mean, come on, this series should have wrapped up like last year's 4-2. Or even 4-1 because the Cavs are no better with their new coach. On the other hand, I never imagined OKC was gonna test the GSW like they did so what do I know? Here's hoping GSW win at home and the team plays big and cause another unsettling 20-30 point blowout.

Only Green does that. The ones with Adams were bad sportsmanship...I'll be the very first one to admit that, I was practically cursing at Green through the screen.

However, LeBron deserved to get hit...you just don't walk over a player, and place your own package on top of a guy like that...I was disappointed that Green didn't kicked him in the nuts, Daniel LaRusso style.

But yes, out of all the Warriors...Green is the one who drives me the most nuts, no pun intended, lol...

I'm hoping for a great game tonight. Hopefully this won't be another blowout by either team. All these games have been decided by nearly 20 point spreads, so the question is who gets blown out tonight? It would be great if it comes down to just a few points although that's heartbreaking for the losing team here. It's been an interesting series but I have to say the Warriors (from the coach down) have not been a very humble lot when it comes to public reflections of themselves (especially when making comparisons to all time great teams like the Bulls). I think the comparisons are for others to state, not for the team to advertise. That shows a lack of respect for the sport and the Warriors have needed a good beating down. It's not remotely surprising they have blown their series lead to find themselves in a corner for game 7. I think they have drank too much of their own Kool-Aid. They've belittled the Cavs and James in particular and where did it get them? It requires more than just showing up to win these games especially against seasoned players like James who are hungry to change the momentum (and did). And I laugh out loud at coach Kerr's statements about the bad foul calls against Curry when he suggests preferential treatment because he's the MVP. What an asinine reflection. They absolutely act like they have 'deserved' the championship and this series is just a victory lap. What pretentious presumption.

The NBA has NEVER been a league run on disciplined rules from the refs. How many times do these players walk, hack, and otherwise all but tackle each other on every series down court? It's nonstop, so it's hard to know where these calls should be applied to wins or losses since both teams are subject to it. I think the refs are just like the opposition. It's something each team must overcome to come out on top. So it's with more than a bit of hypocrisy that the Warriors point fingers at an industry norm, when it doesn't favor them as if they are supposed to be ENTITLED to special treatment because of their record and awards. This is a competition of endurance. Right now the Warriors are whining because they've spent more time blaming outside factors for their collapse than the job they're doing on the court. It goes without saying the Warriors have the best of both worlds going into tonight's final game as well. They have home court advantage, the league "MVP", and most likely a nervous Cavs team looking at history for what they are asking to deliver to the city of Cleveland. If the Warriors can't manufacture a win with ALL of those advantages, they most certainly do NOT deserve a championship. All that team wants to do is talk about themselves. Lets see if they can show up and show out so there is a REASON to talk tonight. History gets made either way.
