    Where I grew up in British columbia(Canada)
    They came out in the spring and were called Crocuses or crocus.I have no Idea if that is the true name for them but that what I was raised with and everbody around there I met called them the same thing....

      I spent today ripping up violas to make way for the summer annuals and calladium bulbs. Down here the Violas and Pansies are a winter annual.

          Mike, those must be plentiful this year in this part of the country, because those have been popping up in my yard too. This is the first year I've seen this many of them.

                  I get em in a off white with purple streaks also. They cover my entire yard at times. I actually transplanted some to areas I wanted flowers in and they come up all the time. It makes it look like I actually went out and planted flowers every year and I don't do a thing. Just the way I like it. Nice and easy.
                  It's not a doll it's an action figure.

                    We had a few in the back corner of our yard,rabbits came and ate them all up.They left little pellets before they left though.How thoughtful of them.
