So, as some of you know I have been in the midst of a move for almost six months. The first thing I had to do was get rid of all my toys, posters, records and guitars because the Realtor told me they were a distraction and would hurt the home sale.
Took me over a month to put it all in storage, I am now living in a tidy, boring house.
Upon touring houses for sale, I noticed toy collections in about 1/3rd of them, 1/3rd weren't occupied so I imagine this number may have been higher..
Finally, in the house I ended up buying, while I was figuring out a place for stuff to go, I found a whack of Beanie Babies in their acrylic displayers. Future investments I suppose.
So collecting is alive and well.

- One house had a large assortment of Barbies tucked in the basement.
- One bedroom (and I wonder how this dude worked this) had an epic display case loaded with diecast cars.
- In another place, I found a Mego Dukes of Hazzard collection in the basement. This one I wanted to photograph but that felt creepy, so i didn't.
