I remember watching "Head" for the first time, during the Monkee's big 20th Anniversary push in 1986. I was 11 or 12, and man, was that trippy. I knew the Monkees got more hippie-ish as the series progressed, but WOW!!!

The Jethro-as-Robin Hood episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies. Especially when all the hippies get exited because Granny is going to smoke crawdads with them and when the police get wind of it and show up to ask Granny about this crawdad smoking and she explains that, to do it, "all you need is a little pot" and they arrest her on the spot.

That show is way more cleverly written than most people give it credit for.

            I'd say either Kelly's Heroes or M*A*S*H

Sorry, but I did it to myself as well!

Here, everybody groove. It's Victor Garber as Jesus by the way, currently playing Prof Stein on Legends of Tomorrow in case you don't recognize him.

When did the 'Hippie' Era end...?

One of My Favorite Made-for-TV Movies of the 70's was 'The Jericho Mile'...Released in 1979.

Didn't know until today that it was directed by 'Michael Mann'.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is up there. Helter Skelter scared the heck out of me as a kid.

I like when Hippies and Bikers collide.
