Hot car in the sun would work well. If it's between two sheets of glass without a lot of weight, it won't mash the record but will flatten it. But you need to take it inside and let it cool fully before removing from the glass.

whatever YOU TRY (if you try it) just keep a good eye on it and maybe do it for a few small bits of time. Better for it not to work than to over do it.

There is a machine that retails for like $200 that supposedly fixes warps...my buddy wants to go halfsies with me on it but its name escapes me.

In the future, you may wanna keep the original shrink on...some collectors are really into that.

While the cover winds up well-preserved, the record itself may never play right again.

It's really not the shrink on the LP cover that ends up doing the damage...it's how the records are stored. If you put a record on a shelf with others there really shouldn't be any slack or slope to the way the record is stored. Try to get the records as straight as possible. Just leave enough room so that you can pull the record in and out of the collection. Sort of like comics in a comic box...if there is space in the box that lets the comics slope you're gonna get damaged comics. And NEVER stack records one on top of the other. You want warpage then it will definitely happen if you store records one on top of the other. I've learned some lessons the hard way when it comes to records. Lost a few $$$ because I stored them improperly. It sucks...but it does happen.

I think the Rubber Soul record warped from the way it was sitting, it is just a slight ripple on the one edge of the record, like from sitting incorrectly. my ovens lowest setting is 200 so I have not tried anything yet

Soooooo right never pick up an LP that has been stored stacked flat one on the other. One of the first things I learned. I've bought lots of "lots" of records and found so many especially 45's warped

Finally found a "Home Run" piece at a Estate Sale this year. Had to travel about 30 minutes to get it...but it was more than worth the travel. My crappy picture taking skills do not show how "Cherry" this Batmobile is. I was stunned that it was still there when I got there...and I was about a good 45 minutes after the sale started:

We (Me and My Bro Tom) had a Blue version of this that was a bit larger. Bump and Go action just like this one. Only thing I have to do now is test it...but the battery compartment looks super clean. Shouldn't be a problem at all. No rust. I think you can see a small surface scratch in the second side view pic near the fin. Other than that there's not a scratch on the car. The Canopy is clear with no cracks at all and the only thing that takes away from this thing being ABSOLUTELY MINT is that Batman's left ear has a tiny chip. Can't complain at all about this great Batmobile.

If I can finish piecing my Blue one that I bought years ago by the time the next Meet comes around I'll bring this with me and we can talk about it

The estate had other tin litho stuff like a WW2 Tank and a couple of Space Ships...but I really don't know if they were worth the price tag on them so I left them there. I had to have this Batmobile though.

These are the types of thrift store stuff I find...Found these a few weeks ago. I know there are no weapons for the Joes...but they were so clean. I hope they are not re-issues...but I don't think they re-used the same molds for the re-issues. Backsides of the figures say Made In Hong Kong and I think the copyright on the legs say 84 Hasbro on the two dudes and on the Baroness it says 84 Hasbro on here butt:

This next one has me puzzled because I can't find any info on him. I know it's a Shogun Warrior...I just don't know who it is. Missing a hand and any weapons if he had one. Also looks like there may be a piece missing that slid into his head:

Any help on the Shogun is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That Batmobile has to be the find of the year so far! Congrats! I've only seen pics of this one and the blue one but I'm feeling parcel to this red one!
