The last remaining credited actor/actress from arguably the greatest American film ever made, "Casablanca," passed away ate age 92. She played Rick's girlfriend in the classic film. That really is sad. That closes the final chapter on such a great and enduring film. By all accounts, she had a great life -- which is nice.

I've seen Casablanca. Excellent War film from the era of our greatest generation. My grandparents generation. Seems if they live to be in their 90's they get forgotten. Based on the condolences left here only goes to prove the point. Last surviving cast member of Gone with the Wind, Olivia De Havilland, will be 100 in June and Kirk Douglas, one of the greatest action film stars will also be 100 this year. I hope they are not forgotten whether they make it or not.

Actually, she turns 100 on July 1st. However, your point is well taken. Yet, when I created a post last year for her 99th birthday, there were a number of replies! Thus, there is always hope .
