Like the canned ones on crackers as a kid but as a kid I'd eat anything. Now the only way I'll eat them is fresh with a little olive oil right off the grill.Leave a comment:

they have never appealed to me. my brother has always loved them and my daughter who is vegetarian eats them. to me, fish in a can is just not appetizing, although admittedly I do eat tuna fish that wayLeave a comment:

I appreciate the advice, though I don't have access to Trader Joes.
I like almost all seafood and many canned kinds, as well as herring and anchovies. I guess my moniker here is apt.Leave a comment:

King Oscar sardines have a mild, delicate flavor with little or no 'fishy' smell.
The sardines I ate as a kid were very fishy tasting and smelling. Mom did make us eat them outside.

The Trader Joe's are great...so is their canned tuna...much better than either Star Fish or Chicken of the Sea brands.Leave a comment:

I like them, with club crackers. I'll try the brand you suggest, because some I've had have been awful. I've sometimes been told to eat them outside lol.
With eggs sounds pretty good...Leave a comment:

I like 'em. I haven't had any in a while though. They're good w/ scrambled eggs.Leave a comment:

Sardines. Who likes 'em?
I've been eating sardines since I was six years old.
I prefer the small brisling sardines over larger varieties.
I usually just eat them with saltine crackers.
My favorite brand is King Oscar.
At $2.67 a tin (Wal-Mart), they're more expensive than some other brands, but they're well worth it.
