IKEA Nornas glass cabinets

I have no room left in my cottage room...floor wise.

My floor glass curio is full.

But I do have some wall area available.

So planning on placing a couple of the IKEA Nornas glass cabinets up on the wall.

Need opinions.

Which of these two models you guys prefer?

I kinda like the long ones...I think individual 12 inch figures go better with the these...but you can't place long horizontal models like a 15"-20" long figures (like dinosaurs or vehicles)...on the squared ones you can.

These are not for Megos...they are for Sideshow, Hot Toys, Neca, and other 12" figures stuff.

You can paint them in any color you want. But I do like that natural pine wood. But if I were to paint them...something like an aluminum/gray/metallic/silver would be nice. I love black, but it would just not go with some of the darker-colored figures I have.

Double doors looks better.

I agree with liking the double doors better but if it's mainly for 12' figures then of course the longer, taller one would be best. I just think the double door squared one looks better.

I'm also looking at free floating shelves. They are do it yourself ones on YouTube...but I just wanna buy them ready to go.

eBay and Amazon have useless junk, even Ikea...but Etsy has some good ones..

Not going with glass cabinets anymore.

I'm getting custom lumber, cut to specific size...and added to wall...above my desk.

Two long 60" shelves...one on top of another...20" space between them...thick wood painted weathered gray...black brackets (three heavy duty ones per shelf screwed directly to stud), get that modern look...then add some LED track lighting...these suckers will be rated to take up to 150 pounds, lol.

It's being designed for large figures (I'm talking 19" tall Alien Queens and 22" long Space Jockeys here)...it's going to be spectacular...
