I recently sought it out after seeing the album cover from Brian in the record store day thread. It's a trip. An early acting role from Richard Pryor. Also sadly Kevin Coughlin died prematurely a few years after in 1976.

Oh yeah, it's one of my favourite movies, it's very dark. Christopher Jones basically ruined a promising career with apathy. He even refused Tarantino (!) and died after a long illness.

Was it just apathy? Wiki (for what it's worth) makes his Ryan's Daughter experience sound horrific.

I did forget about that but I remember reading that he turned down a lot of lucrative roles after that.

Wow - this is amazing! With the narration and editing style it actually took me a full minute to realize this was the actual movie and not a trailer.

yes it was a double feature with gassssss (1970) on it.

Never heard of this movie before. Went to youtube and saw the trailer. Made me think of this, with Sandmen forcibly "retiring" people at 30.
