That's actually pretty good! Has a nice 60's vibe to it. I do detect a initial chord structure similar to 'Seasons in the Sun' but it's a nice arrangement. Who is in the band these days from the original line up?

i was just going to say the same thing.the guitar sound has a nice byrds feel to it.

I did some reading on this new album. Apparently many of these songs are tunes originally written from the 60's that were not used. I also read they have some with Davy on it that were at least done in demo form. So we might get a kind of Beatle-esque type of tune where they come back in and build a song around that vocal. This warrants a purchase I think. Sounds interesting.

That's exactly what I thought when I listened to it the first time. The song, I think, is trying a bit too hard to be a "cute" Monkees song, but overall with the the tune and the refrain, they nailed it pretty well.

WOW! No auto tuning...real instruments and singers. Whodathunk it could be done like this again. I like it. Sounds like it was produced by Mark Hudson who produced all of Ringo's late 80's - 2000's albums. Is this out yet so that I can buy it?
