'Posh' Schoolboy killed by single punch

after telling Bouncer 'you'll work for me one day'

scary how a single punch can kill ya.

So, some are defending this by saying he cant talk down on someone else, had it coming.

The rich guy is probably a twat, although it depends on the way he said it, but death certainly wasn't the appropriate consequence.

You really can't hold someone underage responsible for acting like a jerk (if it doesn't actually hurt anyone)

The bouncer killed the kid so he's gotta be held responsible --- prob involuntary MS

It's pretty easy to kill someone if you punch him in the throat.

That's what they should teach woman in rape defense class... punch in the throat

If he was underage? why was he in an establishment were they have bouncers working there? so that makes me
think alcohol was being sold, besides this bouncer using his fist which caused the death of an underage kid
just because of a remark, is in big trouble. In some cases a fist can be considered a leathal weapon.

It amazes me how many people in this day and age let the words of others own them. People can say anything they want to you. YOU decide what has value and what should be dismissed. Yeah, that kid ran his mouth, but he didn't deserve to die for it. Because some thin-skinned big boy couldn't handled being talked to, he is likely going away for involuntary manslaughter. How's that personal pride serving you today bouncer boy? Idiot. The only thing we control in life is ourselves.

While indeed you can kill someone punching them in the throat...it's not "pretty easy"...all the right conditions have to be at play here...force of strike, type of strike, attacker seeing or not seeing it coming ( because you can tense your muscles to absorb the hit), etc. Also, throat punches are usually very hard to connect...as the chin acts as a shield, many people instinctively tuck their chins in...so many factors come into play. Even when struck, most people would not strike with the proper force or technique to collapse the windpipe...it really has to be a massive perfect well located properly connected strike. So yes, you can kill someone, just not that easily.

Most of these fatal one punch street fights happens when the person on the receiving end, hits the back of his head on the pavement...not necessarily from being hit on the face (chin, temple, etc)...

Here's another take on it. It's a bit more complicated, but yeah - still no reason for it to happen. Somebody needs to be the bigger man and just walk away.

I have mixed opinions. Back in the day teachers were allowed to strike/paddle misbehaved students, nowadays kids rarely get so much as a slap on the hand allowing them to run wild with any and all impulses with only a finger-wave to tell them it's wrong. If a parent decides to punish a child they now run the risk of being reported for abuse!
Bullying was always an issue in schools but nowadays these children with access to the internet don't even have to have met each other. 'Kill Yourself' aka 'kys' is the worst possible outcome for this kind of behavior and the results are tragic.

If I was the ruler of all things: The puncher would only serve time for assault since the outcome was not premeditated.
