Don't forget the mighty (crazy) Wesley Willis:
      I wupped Batman's *ss
      I whipped Spiderman's *ss
I wupped the Mighty Thor's *ss
      Birdman Kicked my *ss

Not really top 40 material, and all pretty much the same song, but very funny. But the guy released actual records on actual labels so the songs count!

        Robyn Hitchcock's Superman:

Superman, superman, crunchy little superman/Found you in a Corn Flakes box/Nourished you in privacy/Touched the parts you couldn't reach/You improved immediately/She's a squeaking head on a pleasure box/And the boys don't understand/It took the Holy Roman Empire/Just to get you by my side/And I'm gonna be more careful with you/Aren't I?

          Rapper's Delight-Superman

and the only other one I could think of is Barbra Streisand Superman from the Movie.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I had a 45 record as a kid about Muhammad Ali called "Catch Me If You Can" where he referred to himself as the Black Superman. My Mego Ali's theme song.

New Country song called "I've Been Watching You" where a little boy says he'll be strong as Superman.

Bryan Adams -Can't Stop This Thing We Started- "I ain't Superman, and I can't fly."

Doesn't Barbara Streisand have a song called "Superman"?

I love Ookla the Mok! I have most of their CD's and I've seen them perform a couple of times at the Pittsburgh Comicon (I even got their autographs). I'm such a geek!
