does anyone have any idea where i stand,a company took over £500 out of my account saying there had been a glitch on their system and would pay it back in 5-7 business days that was on march 19th and they have not refunded it or replied to any of my emails.it was taken from my credit card.

Call your credit card company and report it as a possible theft.

If they don't help contact your local police dept.

the credit card said as you pay monthly fees to this company it isn't fraud.surely if a company takes money that they are not owed it is theft isn't it.

Is this still with the ioffer issue? I would call back your credit company and tell them about the huge discrepancy with the normal fees taken from the account and the usual fee that was deducted. If it was an email the company sent you mentioning the system glitch, pass that along to the credit company as well. I would still contact your local police in addition to this

I'd cancel whatever your paying these guys monthly fees on. Then call your credit card company and just keep asking for a supervisor they'll be able to do a charge back. Don't give them too much detail, just say it's an unauthorized charge that you have no idea what it's for and you should be able to get that off with a little fighting...I used to fight credit card charges on our employee credit cards all the time! If they (the vendor) couldn't produce an invoice I got the charge erased

yes still the same thing the bank told me to email them everyday and print the emails and any i receive from them which was only the one confirming their mistake, then go back to the bank in 3 weeks.the bank also cancelled the direct debit i had with my credit card so it didn't all come out of my account and leave me overdrawn.they also waved the £12 charge for going over £500 on my card but still no word from ioffer.
