I'm a huge fan of Valley of the Dolls and I say that as a straight male.

        Very sad to hear.

I'm sad to hear this. Duke was underrated IMO. She did some great work and raised talented sons, too.

Patty's TV dad, William Schallert, bless him, is irascible as ever at 93, though frail.

Wow, how manhy great celebs have we lost in 2016, and it's only MARCH! This saddens me. Patty Duke was a great actress. I loved her in the Patty Duke Show as well as the numerous TV movies she's starred in. RIP Patty. You will be missed!

I can't watch the Patty Duke show after she admitted she was being molested throughout it's run.

I had no idea Sean "Rudy" Astin was her son.

Me-TV has tribute programming tonight on Super Sci-Fi Saturday night w/ Star Trek (The Trouble with Tribbles), and The Incredible Shrinking Man (he was the first doctor).

                        RIP Mr. Schallert.
