...cancer got him, he was a known heavy smoker who had quit a couple of decades ago...Cruyff had double heart bypass surgery in 1991 and gave up smoking immediately after the operation, swapping cigarettes for lollipops...but I guess it finally caught up to him....
Football/soccer fans across the globe are in mourning now. He was one of the greatest players ever...I definitely place him in my all time top five list. He was in fact, my favorite player as a kid.
