Don't miss the Kirk Alyn stuff, Mikey. I've always been a Chris Reeve man, but Alyn's really grown on me. Once you get past the animated flying, those serials are really pretty cool. -
I caught some of this last night. Nice to have Michael Uslan on there educating the non-geeks among the audience.
The Superman serials are a lot of fun, but man, those Batman ones are hard for even me to make it through! Of all the old time hero serials I've seen, they are near the very bottom, I'm sorry to say.

^ I actually liked the first Batman serial a lot better than the second.
The first Robin's voice sounded like Burt Ward.
One scene that did make me laugh, Vicky is in the car with Bruce and Dick, she then leaves the car but turns around --- she then see's Bruce and Dick stripping down in the carComment

Oddly enough, Robert Lowery shows up on an episode of The Adventures of Superman, with crooks believing he is the Man of Steel, since he becomes weakened when around Kryptonite! Even crazier, this episode actually ties back to the classic "Panic In The Sky" episode, in a rare bit of continuity!

I have both Superman serials on dvd, Kirk Alyn did a great job playing both Kent and Superman, the animation
parts were a bit silly along with the close ups of him flying, but I thought the costume wasn't bad at all.
Speaking of costumes Batman and Robin were halirious, Batman had a beak and his cape kept falling off
during fights, Robin's mask was silly. I did like the shadows of the bats flying around the batcave.Comment
