Yeah she took him to the cleaners like 8 years ago. He was worth $30 million when the dust settled he had less than $5mil left.

Hogan is one celebrity I've liked less and less as the years go by.

Even though he was in the right I would have loved to see him lose.

Well I guess saying your prayers and eating your vitamin's and drinking milk pays off, although we all know the Hulkster never
practiced what he preached. By the way is his son in jail? I know his daughter was pretty attractive anyone know what she's been
              doing lately?

Not a fan of Hogan (have no opinion of him really) but I'm glad he won this case. Gawker is awful.

I'm pretty sure fines and penalties imposed for breaking the law are not wiped out by bankruptcy

Really I'm not so sure about them "breaking the law" or at least anything above a misdemeanor. Wouldn't this be more aligned with something like defamation, libel, slander or invasion of privacy? Again, not sure.
I'm glad he won but him or his family do nothing for me. His son was release from jail some time back and last thing I ever hear about his daughter was that she was dating some want-to-be rapper.

The only information I've gotten about this nonsense is what I've heard on the Howard Stern Show when Hogan was a guest. Didn't this all get started because his dopey friend secretly taped the session and then leaked it to Gawker? Shouldn't he be the one in court for this, or is Hogan just going after deeper pockets? Wouldn't be surprised if Hogan and Bubba (Bubba.....) were in cahoots.

I believe the jury determined his privacy was violated...invasion of privacy / privacy laws are real laws.

Although I thought celebrities were immune from privacy laws because they choose to be in the public eye.

But again it's nothing above a misdemeanor. Good point about the "celebrity clause" kind of thing. I wonder since he's pretty much washed up as a celebrity if there's a limit to when your fame and being in the public eye has passed for being immune to that Next up ........ Dancing With The Stars

I still say he'll never collect. It's not like the Gawker website is Walmart or even TMZ for that matter.

                              100 million?

                              500 million?

From Gawker? He'll never get anywhere close to that.
