It's been two years already. Rest in peace ol' Jim. A fantastic actor, and Rockford Files' still one of the greatest TV series ever!

While Garner didn't die recently, his co-star Joe Santos, who played Sgt. Becker on the Rockford Files did this week.

I was bummed when I heard it. I watched the Rockford Files as a kid and more Recently the Larry McMurty's Streets of Laredo (sequel to lonesome dove), which he was awesome in and highly recommended, as well as the Maverick series. Great Actor. Sad to see he had died. But it was summer before last. He was 86 at the time.
