Go after the cop on what grounds? According to what I read, the knife was discovered by a contractor during demolition of OJ's estate, long after the trial ended and a murder was set free by a clown jury that deliberated all of 4 hours before issuing their verdict. The contractor supposedly gave it to the police, what could be done after a verdict was reached? -
^ Just because OJ was found not guilty doesn't mean the murder was solved.

They wouldn't be able to do anything with the knife even if they find DNA on it. He got off because his defense was able to discredit all the evidence due to the LAPD's mishandling of it. Talk about a break in the chain of custody! There's no way to prove who buried the knife in the first place, and if there is any blood or hair on it, who's to say it wasn't planted? Only thing it would do, if there's even anything viable on it, is confirm in many people's minds that OJ did it.
Not sure what they could do with the cop who held onto it, other than tell him he's a big fat jack-***.Comment
