Anybody try Angry Orchard ?

Gave it a try because it seems to be the new thing.

Can't say I like it even though I LOVE cider.

1 bottle didn't even buzz me, but gave me headache and the sh_ts the next morning.

Also $16.00 for a sixpack seems overly inflated.

I'll stick with Mike's Hard Lemonade next time

I've tried that and a few of the other drinks in the same vein. I don't know what's in those products, but it hits me the wrong way too. I don't know if it has a high salt content but there is something in those processed drinks that don't agree with me so I'm learning to stay way from them. Cabo or the occasional dark beer works for me.

I work for a cidery here in Canada. It's been interesting to watch the cider business blow up over the last decade. Just like beer there's a billion different ways to do cider (Apple variety's number in the hundreds). You might be getting headaches from the sulphites or the high sugar content. The worse hangover I ever had was due to too much cider (the day after my wedding).

Yeah it pretty run of the mill. Like Mike's it's almost marketed to teens who are too young to drink.

Good stuff. Better stuff when you add fireball whiskey to it. Called an angry ball. I can't drink more than one or two a night

i like the green apple one. they are not bad but I can only have 1 or 2. they are too sweet

I had a Cider the other day that someone left in my fridge from a party.

It was so sweet and gross I drank it in like 5 minutes. It said 4% alcohol. I would have had to drink a case to even get a buzz.

I tried an Ace Pineapple Hard Cider at EPCOT yesterday. I'm not usually into really sweet drinks but this was like tasty candy. Really hit the spot but no way I could drink more than 1 or 2.
