Were you ever a wrestling fan?

    I loved WCW around 1998.

I loved WWWF in the 70's ... used to show on channel 9 New York City at 12:00 midnight.

Also loved WWF in the 80's until Ultimate Warrior won the belt.

Totally stopped watching during the Brett Hart years.

In the 90's got into WCW -- mostly to watch NWO antics.

Came back to WWF to watch Steve Austin do his 3:16 schtick

Totally lost interest in both WWF and WCW and pro wrestling in general when WWF bought out WCW.

BTW, back in the late 90's my buddies and I did a last minute NJ-Miami roadtrip to see a Monday Nitro -- One of the most fun things I ever did

Watched it WWF as a kid during Hogan's heyday in the 80s. Fun thing to watch and semi-replicate with friends on a Saturday late morning. And I had a frenemy who had the LJN ring and many of the figures.

I had a friend who got free tickets to a RAW taping in the late 90s. Saw The Rock just as he was coming up. He was still a heel. My sister and brother-in-law got into it big around that time and had pay-per-view parties at their house, so I got back into it a bit for a while. But other than my son's WWE 2015 video game, I haven't paid any attention to it in years.

          Totally dodged that bullet.

The only wrestling shows I was exposed to as a kid, were low rent affairs like "Maple Leaf Wrestling" which often looked like they filmed in the basement of a gymnasium by candle light with a super 8 camera. So, I just didn't get it, never truly will.

I loved watching the old NWA matches back in the 70's to mid 80's.

I grew up with boxing, thanks to my dad.

Pro wrestling was always an ocassional watch for me, but never really became a rabid fan like in boxing.

Today, it's still boxing over wrestling, but in a smaller scale, very few boxing stars today (the 80s was the best decade in my opinion), and MMA is hot and cold for me...sometimes it's exciting as heck, and sometimes it bores me to tears.

I still watch a little bit of Monday Night Raw, but I DVR it, and only watch the first half hour, and the last half hour, those are the only good parts.

              Shane McMahon is back...

Watched WWF every Saturday morning in the 70's and up to the late 80's, Pipers pit was a must
NWA was great too, Ricky Steamboat, Rick Flair, and the Road Warriors, I believe all came up
from the NWA, saw me many matches at the old Boston Garden and an outdoor match called
King of the Ring, NWA never really came around my area, too bad I would have loved seeing
those matches as well. Haven't been following wrestling for over 20 years, just no interest.

Yes. I was obsessed with pro wrestling from early childhood until early 30s when Vince McMahon ruined the sport when he bought WCW.

As a child, my uncle used to take me to Pacific NW cards at the Masonic Temple in downtown Seattle. Back when the wrestlers walked through the aisles and concourse to get to the ring. He tells a story when I was like 3 or 4 I was picking my nose in the concourse and a wrestler yelled at me "Hey kid quit picking your nose in public!"

Watched everything from NWA to WWF to Calgary Stampede Wrestling to Pacific NW/Big Time Wrestling.

Would hang out at grocery store newsstand and read The Wrestler and Inside Wrestling until I was old enough to subscribe.

                  -Chris

in Jr. high my buddy got me totally obsesses with WWF. by high school I had lost interest. got to go see them live a bunch of times at the local civic center. even got to be in the audience for the live taping of the land of a thousand dances music video they made for the first wrestler album that came out. that was pretty cool.

I loved watching NWA wrestling as a kid! Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen were great baddies. I loved the Road Warriors though. My favorite had to be Dusty Rhodes. He was great talking smack and entertaining as he@l in the ring.

Loved wrestling!! I used to go to the WWF TV tapings they held in Brantford in the mid 80's and various house shows around Ontario..and watched NWA, AWA, UWF...gotta love those obscure UHF channels back in the day showing wrestling all the time.

Bought every wrestling magazine back then too! And my brothers and I were early pioneers in back yard wrestling! We had belts and trading cards! Good times!!

Nearly all my life. Have met pretty much everyone in the business that I ever wanted to including my five favorites (Dusty, Hulk, Flair, Piper, Race) multiple times. Lived out my dream since I was 9 of writing for the wrestling magazines. I don't like to say wrestling is my life, but it's a big part of it and always will be.

Yeah it's sad Piper and Dusty passed last year only a few months apart too.

Did you ever met Mysterio ?

                            Or Jericho ?
