Heard about this months ago. I think they just recently finalized the cast though. He's also doing a San Andreas 2.

I think it's a comedy making fun of it. Also has Zac Effron and a bunch of people I've never heard of. Maybe once I see their faces I'll recognize them from other things.

Howard Stern's "Son of the Beach" already parodied Baywatch. Wonderfully. Almost 20 yrs ago. Baywatch is kinda irrelevant these days isn't it?

It is but Dwayne Johnson is the golden man in Hollywood right now so it almost can't fail.
