The New Jersey Turnpikes- A lost film

This is a great article about a comedy starring Kelsey Grammar and Jason Segal that was made, finished and then buried for political reasons.

It's funny, i probably wouldn't have seen this movie if it had been released to theatres back in the 90s but now because the studio won't release it, i totally want to see it.

Fantastic article! I never heard of this movie before.

You nailed it - I probably wouldn't have wanted to watch this when it was suppose to come out, but now I really want to see it.

I wasn't nuts about "Semi-Pro", but now I'm wondering if it would have worked better as a mockumentary? Maybe I'm the only one, but when I saw "Semi-Pro" I kept thinking it was borrowing from "Slap Shot".

Great article. I'm currently reading the new edition of Lee Goldberg's brilliant "Unsold Television Pilots", and this reminds me of a lot of stuff in there. Did you know that there were not one, but two different failed sitcom pilots around '74/'75 that were set in the toy industry?
