I think maybe we talked about this last season - but that dude also created a character named K-Strass who is a fake yo-yo champion and got on a bunch of local morning news shows. Pretty funny:

I love how Saul and Breaking Bad both took time to include little private mundane moments with the characters. Like in this week's episode when Jimmy was fighting with his cup holder. Sure, that scene had larger metaphorical implications for the overall story, but it's not really driving the plot forward. The camera angles, performance and time they spent on the scene is one of the things that makes that show great to me. We use to see scenes like that a lot in the 70s, but I don't see many of those moments in movies or TV anymore.
