I checked the tracking today and all it says is that it was received at MY post office. It is almost like it is still there? Ever happen to any of you guys?

It has to do with the barcoding.
Everytime a package moves from one place to another, a barcoding scanner should be used to track every package from beginning to end but oftentimes, the postal employee forgets to scan the item so it will show the receiving location and that's it.
USPS is notorius for this but in my experience this is something that UPS and FedEx does well (possibly because they track every single package) so there is know thought process that has to take place."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
