Accidental Littlest Pet Shop Collector

So, I'm finally getting around to selling stuff on ebay. We have a few boxes of toys from 2002-2006 when we bought ahead for our kids, but didn't give the stuff to them (primarily misplaced & forgotten). I figured I'd start with something easy, so I pulled out a LPS two-pack and checked values. $55 was the average for MIP - OK. Simple enough. The next two pack I pulled out was selling recently for $100. That's nice...somehow, I'm in less of a hurry to sell a valuable one. Next one out was also $100 (and that might be all the LPS we have).

Now I have to decide whether to sell or keep. I'm not really attached, but I hesitate to sell good pieces. Anyone else ever stumble into a collection by accident?

I thought maybe my daughter would be into them so I bought every baggie full of them I came across in thrift shops for a few years. She's not.

I'd sell them and pay it forward. Buy them something they are into now with the money.

I saw a sign in Target limiting Shopkins pruchases to 3 per family last night. Those things are crazy popular. My youngest has a couple and they're exactly the kind of thing he usually couldn't care less about.

I've got the same thing going on. One of my younger sons has a shoebox-sized container full of them. He's a SW/Lego/Superhero kid, except for the Shopkins. He typically plays with them alone, so it's not a peer pressure thing.

I am glad to hear I am not the only one who 'buys ahead' for my children only to have them grow out of the items before I find them in storage. Thankfully I found a stash of Lego from a couple of years ago that were timely for the younglings this past Christmas, but usually I am stuck with a pile that ends up donated.

My daughter has been customizing all of hers...in terms of money, they aren't worth anything....but for sentimental reasons, they are priceless....

I sell these all the time..I'd sell them if I were you..some are rare loose but that takes a lot of time to look at one by one.. They normally sell for around $1 a piece loose..so in big lots you can do well
