Anyone else love Cheech and Chong ?

Seems like in today's no drugs society, Cheech and Chong has been almost written off and forgotten.

    These guys were FUNNY

      Daves not here
      "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

Don't know much about them---but one of my favorite movie scenes EVER
was that scene where CHEECH accidentally takes that really big hit of acid
and CHONG totally spooks him out for doing it

My father took to me to C&C movies as a kid. I never really understood why, he was pretty straight.

I like Cheech and Chong's movies. Up in smoke was great.

"May I have a bite of your hotdog" when the motorcycle cop pulls them over in the van is still and always will be a classic to me. I also like the motorcycle being reved up killing off the neighbors roses. (Not sure if that was from the same movie) It has been a long while since I have seen any of their movies. Thanks for planting the seed of thought. Now I must see the movies again as I feel like it is a song stuck in my head now. Must see Cheech and Chong movies again. The funny thing to me is that there are real people in this world that are really like them or so it would seem sometimes.

Oh man I love Cheech and Chong.

as a little kid I would listen to one of the LPs with my older brother ...

Peter Rooter always made me laugh ... even though I didn't understand it until I was about 11 years old.

Up in Smoke is great stuff. gotta love the "water" the Judge likes to drink

Exactly what I was going to say.

"Hey, how am I driving?" - "We're parked"

??????? Not sure which society your living in, I'd say drugs are more prevelent today than they ever have been, in fact so much so that I think a lot of drug humour goes by totally unnoticed.

I don't agree. I have a brother who is turning 50 this year so he was truly a teenager of the 70's and he told me that smoking dope and LSD was such an accepted part of society that even police officers didn't really seem to care that much as long as it was only marijuana.

I'm not naiive into thinking that drugs are more prevalent today but I can tell you that school children are engrained from a very early age that all alcohol, tobacco, etc. is bad for you. Things are explained to them in school in black and white. They think alcohol is bad period so they really don't understand that their teacher says alcohol is horrible and might see my wife and I having a glass of wine and thinking we are committing a terrible crime. We have had to go back and re-educate them so they understand that it isn't illegal and that moderate consumption is ok as long as you're of the proper age, not drinking in excess, and not driving.

BTW, I'll say that I'm really not into C&C.

I was never into drug use so I really can't relate to the style of humor. I am also not inferring that you have to be to get it but I really don't get it.
