Anybody else get Comet TV ?

Just started getting a new channel called Comet TV.

Seems to have future potential for classic sci fi --- right now it's hit and miss

    here's their wiki write-up

I just checked out their website. It has potential. But there's a lot of Stargate SG-1 and Outer Limits. Some classics thrown in. I don't think I get it, but I'll have to look.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Had Comet TV while staying at my beach....Long Beach,WA.,..... over New Years weekend, loved every SECOND when I was actually watching it! Some old, really bad sci fi movie was shwoing, mix of Asian and American actors in it,some robot, and the usual sci fi stuff, lol! Don't remember what it was called, but I'm gonna try and find out as I never saw the ending.

I actually thought, since there was no SciFi channel at the hotel I was staying at.....yes,I REFUSE to call it by the new name, sounds like bloody syphilis!,lol......that I had Comet TV instead, lol. Oh if I could have that weekend again........

      J-R!

Edit: Just found out what that really crap movie was. Uchu kara no messeji.....in other words,Message From Space. It's from 1978 and the only actor I recognised was Vic Morrow. Didn't he die on the set of the Twilight Zone movie back in the day? Seem to remember reading something about that.

We just got it added in January...limited programming so far, but if they expand into classic scifi it could be worthwhile. Would be nice to see a me-tv like scifi channel with some 70s goodness like Logans Run, Night Stalker, MANIMAL, even the early Fox Werewolf show.

^ never use that stuff on chrome

tried to polish my chrome bumpers with it back in the day and totally ruined them.

no big deal, it was a beater anyway

I just found out I was getting it the other day. Like most channels these days it's schedule is repitious but there seems to be some interesting movies now and then.
