    Not so new dog... Ernie

We've had him for a few months, just really hard to get a picture of him. He was two time loser at the dog pound, the last owners said they couldn't afford to feed him, first time around he was a stray. Its nuts, he's such a nice well behaved dog. He's a Cairn Terrier maybe mixed with something, but he's a Cairn in behavior. We just stopped by to donate some food and towels to the pound and there he was.

I've decided to give Punkin a rest for a bit, her pic makes me want to find another shih Tzu and I really don't want 7 dogs.

Nice to hear he finally got a home to stretch out in for good.

      Awwww, too adorable!

Glad you are active at dog shelters. I am too...volunteer once a week...I basically do a lot of dog walking for the shelter, the doggies absolutely love and appreciate it.

This is the one I volunteer at, plus I got my two dogettes from there as well...

          Aww, he is so cute!!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

neat, we actually found 3 of our dogs at the county animal shelter. They make quite an effort to find homes for dogs and hold onto to them a lot longer than most county shelters. Glad you do so much for your locals, too.

I used to volunteer at the Oakland Zoo many years ago. I use to clean the African Elephants compound. Bloody hard work though. Had to give that one up...as I was both working and going to school...too much...
