Reading this first thing has left the whole day a complete write off for me. His music brings me back to so many points in my life. I thought he'd live forever.

I was incredibly shocked and saddened to hear the news this morning. My wife mentioned it to me just as I was leaving for work, so I was feeling pretty melancholy all day. What an incredibly talented and influential man he was. RIP Mr. Bowie...

Totally crushed by the news. Bowie was an idol of mine. He was a true artist and innovator, still making amazing music right up to the day he died. I was just posting last month about his new album...

The world is a little less bright today without Bowie in it.

Truely a sad day in music, and the world. My 22 yr old son was quite devastated when he heard the news. He got into Bowie about a year ago through vinyl, and he has been one of his favorites ever since. I wanted to get him the special Barnes and Noble clear vinyl Blackstar album for him, but it seems the vultures have bought them all up to throw on ebay for hundreds of dollars.

                  RIP

Very fond memories of this video. The Rialto Theater in South Pasadena would always show this video before their midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Only got to see him perform live once during The Glass Spider Tour. Charlie Sexton joined him on stage for a jam.

He was always inventing. Whenever he finished something, it was time to invent something totally new.
As an actor, he played Tesla, and that kind of says it all.
