Veteran actor Pat Harrington Jr, best known as Schneider in the CBS TV series 'One Day At A Time' passed away yesterday at the age of 86, according to his daughter. He always seemed to be a pretty cool guy. Condolences to his family, former castmates, and fans.

Oh man!I loved him as Schneider! He was also the voice of the Inspector on the Pink Panther cartoons. RIP Pat. You will be greatly missed!
