Wilt dominated that game because no one could stop him. Kobe dominated because he took more than half of his teams total shots. So he dominated the ball. Great.

And 75% of the NBA now aren't scrubs? The NBA is a complete joke outside of maybe 1-2 players on half the teams.

Bill Russell was THE reason the C's won those 11 titles. He wasn't a bit player. So your Robert Horry comparison is a straw man argument. Would you question the validity of a title for LeBron this year with teams like Philly, Sac, Minny, NJ, etc in the league? The league mostly stinks.

Is James a great player? Sure. There have been lots of great players in the league, including the ABA. But he's not even close to being the greatest to ever play. I can name 25 players who were better. Some with many more titles and some with fewer than his two.

He does only have two, right? :-)

    Love a good debate :-)
I'd like to answer but I was told this is a football thread not a basketball one

Don't feel bad Damian I don't think there is an answer to the response. lol
Also I don't think Russell was a coach killer like Lebron.

Even the Eagles game could have gone either way, so fortunate we are. As far as SB 50, Denver at home barely
squeezed by Pittsburgh and New England, Carolina seemed to breeze past Seattle (1st half) then clobbered Arizona.

Carolina seems to be able to turn on the jets when they want too, then kind of coast the rest of the way, if they jump
out to an early big lead against Denver, then I really don't see Denver playing catch up, so if the score is something
like 31-3 at halftime, Denver will be Done(ver)

For those talkin NBA, LBJ will never win a championship in Cleveland, that team threw all there eggs in one basket
and cross your fingers, heck if the Celtics had a dominating center they could beat Cleveland, although King James
usually does get the benefits of the calls his way.

I just think Denver's D is going to expose the Panthers. The game will be close due to Manning's slinky weak arm...had he been in his prime...he would've shredded that Panther secondary.

                  I'll say Carolina 30-19.

I would love to see Payton go out with another ring. It's just not going to happen. Denver has a very good D, but it not going to be like when they played N.E. N.E has 0 running game. It was easy for them. Carolina fairly easy in this one.

                      Anybody watch ESPN's 30 for 30?

Four Falls of Buffalo...pretty darn good.

The '85 Bears episode was even better...great stuff...

I watched both. I thought the Buffalo one was better. I missed the first half hour of the 85 Bears and they intentionally glazed over the actual Super Bowl game with the Patriots. I can't wait for the Ric Flair 30 for 30.

Lebron will soon be forgotten if he stays in Cleveland. He will never win a championship there.

Durant and Westbrook had their time. They will need to move on if they ever want to win a championship. Two great players though..

Stephen Curry is reinventing the game. His style of play will inspire new and upcoming players. Good on him. As a die hard Lakers fan and I am originally from Los Angeles area, I am all for the Warriors kicking *ss this year and any other year they can. They are an amazing team and should be given all the credit in the world.

Kobe needs to retire and move on from the game.

..... Now to get back to the Super Bowl!

Go Broncos! will be a great game!

Westbrook, 0-6 from the field in the fourth quarter.

Yeah, I'd take him over Curry...sure...

The Warriors need to go 27-5 the rest of the way to get the record. With a long road trip coming up it will be tough.

Anyway, the only other safe bet on SB 50 is the halftime show will stink to High Heaven.

Curry's a shooter not a grinder or baller like Westbrook..it's like comparing Reggie Miller to Jordan ....Curry's great now with the team he has around him cause they have to respect everyone in that team, he hardly gets doubled..Westbrook is the best Athlete in the NBA , the things he's doing after his injury are insane. But curry's the best shooter by far. I use to think Ray Allen was the greatest but my god that dude's on pace to destroying him
