Karma coming for Schazier and the Steelers. Look forward to seeing it land in spades. Horrible miss on the spearing call. Dirty too....Ahem...Karma delivered.

I hope New England gets stomped today but I won't put money on it. Carolina has been overlooked all season I think they will be crowned champs in the big game.

To JB, Pittsburgh played hard all season but simply had too many injuries and didn't have enough talent to win in the postseason, Either way maybe next year is their time.

          Not the Patriots.

^^^ Had the Patriots bothered to kick field goals twice down before their last touchdown, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Bad coaching on the Pats side. But I am happy to see Peyton finish his career in a Superbowl. He's a class act. Not sure he'll get similar results with the Panthers.

Carson Palmer's horrid throws did the Cardinals in...for he was/is getting good pass protection...but I guess the big moment got to him...

Yep. Palmer seems to dry up in big games. I got that from his stint in Cincy.

Palmer fizzled in his one year with the Raiders too...although to be fair to him...that was a pretty awful team, zero pass protection there.

I'm guessing the Panthers will start as a 5 point favorite over the Broncos... honestly, shouldn't be that close though.

^^^ Broncos defense will have to keep this game close and Manning will have to figure out some way to pass through those lightening fast Panther corners. I don't honestly see that happening for the Bronco offense. But for Manning it's a kind of Rocky ending for him however it swings. If he loses, he went the distance in his final year. If he wins, that will be a monster upset and a storybook departure. So he'll go out with high marks any way you slice it. But my early impression is it will be another rout at Manning's expense.

Yeah people think it will be a repeat of 2 years ago, but Denver has more experience and historically great defense win against great offensive. But we shall see.

I'd love to see a class act like Manning ride off into the sunset with the huge upset, but Carolina is hitting on all cylinders right now. I think it could be an ugly game.

I agree about great defenses winning championships, but Carolina's isn't too shabby either. What do great defenses do against bad offenses?

All I want is a good game. I'll be pulling for Carolina since they're my home team (obviously, I didn't grow up pulling for them), but I would also be happy to see Manning ride off into the sunset with another SB win to shut up the naysayers!

I keep going back and forth in my head. Just when i think the Broncos D looked amazing in shutting Brady down yesterday, I look at the entire body of work the Panthers put down this entire season. I know this, Defense wins the big ones. But you have to have a decent offense. So who has the offense that will score just enough? Should be an outstanding game. Both teams have 2 weeks to get rested and heal.
Now onto Carson Palmer. Being a diehard Bengals fan, i will always have a soft spot for him. I have to think he has some sort of injury. He didn't even look close to the Palmer we saw all season. I don't think it was anything other than an injury.
