Any show that uses this same done to death formula ...
Quote from Three Amigos,
You meet Cochise. At first you think he's a terrible guy.
You fight, then you get to know him...
You come to respect each other, and at the end of the picture ...you're friends.

The Shatner episode in mission impossible season 6 had more holes than swish cheese.
In order to solve a cold case the IMF and scores of actors go to extreme lengths to convince one of the killers, Thomas Kroll, that he is reliving the day of the murder - June 30, 1937.Comment

Now I am mentally reviewing every episode of Gilligans Island... the first that comes to mind is the mass scientist who developed a brain-switching machine, although most episodes made less sense than that one.Comment

Apropos Boywonder0's and my recent posts... in my opinion, the Batman TV series and Gilligans Island series should not even count, as every episode from both is somewhat eliminated from consideration when the movie version defies all sense/reason and relies instead on a more kindergarten-level of logic than any single televised episode.
The Batman movie pits together four criminals to hold the world for ransom (dehydrating peace dignitaries, don't get me started), and this is (paraphrased) how criminal profiling is done in Gotham City:
"...this all seems so fishy -- wait: fishy, like the crimes of... The Penguin! And fish come from the sea... 'Sea' = 'C'... C for Catwoman! This seems like a great joke... wait! That means the Joker is involved! It's really a big riddle... Oh, no! By logical conclusion, our mere use of a commonly used English word has, ipso facto, re-manifested reality to retroactively include the criminal mastermind colloquially known as 'The Riddler,' aka Edward Nigma in most DCU canon, within the historical events which have already occurred! Wait... stop talking, and no one reference Ancient Egypt or eggs or hats or gold or anything else upon a criminal may base their crimes, else the list of perpetrators shall exceed our ability to defeat!" ...Or at least, that's how I remember that. Which single episode of the series is more absurd? And if you offer a suggestion, I will counter with : "shark repellent bat spray".
As if nothing could mock Gilligan's Island worse than itself, I remind all that there were sequels and reboots -- all of which are dwarfed by "Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island" (which you should all watch in respect to the recently lost Meadowlark Lemon).
For me, the Brady Bunch movies also invalidated any absurdity offered in the series.Comment
