Thanks to Enywad72! Got An Old Friend Back!

Just wanted to share one of the many reasons I love this board.

I bought some Megos off of Dwayne, and when I opened the package, 2 surprises were also in the box. One was a Frankenstein model kit for my daughter to put together for Christmas (I had expressed difficulty finding one at a decent price).

The other.. This minty bad boy right here:

People use the expression "my jaw dropped" all the time, but I truly lost it when I opened the box. Somehow I must have mentioned that this was my #1 favorite coloring book as a kid in another thread, and Dwayne remembered and graciously sent it along with my other goodies.

It is so mint and crisp, I felt like I just time traveled.

I still feel new here, really. But I have made some terrific friends through this forum. It really feels nice to be on the receiving end of such generosity, so I will pass it around and pay it forward.

    Thanks, Dwayne!

Now the real question...to color or not to color?

                    Cool. Congrats.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That's terrific, congratulations. One of my favorite coloring books--it features Penguin & Minstrel, correct?

Please share your daughter's Frankenstein's Monster project with us, too.

That was a groovy thing to do, Dwayne. And Andy, you should scan or photocopy your faves and then color them!

Dwayne---are you sure you don't live in a big castle up at the North Pole and spread delight to---well---everyone? Wonderful wonderful on both parties parts! It's why I keep coming back here day after day. (By the way, if it were me, I'd definitely start scanning those pages in, then when you print them out, you can find some cool stock to run them on!)
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Yup, the scanning has crossed my mind but I wanna be very careful with the binding. Of all the villains they thought kids would want to color, they chose Minstrel!!

And just like that I am 6 years old again.

No, but I am somewhat fat and I do like to eat cookies, so there is that.
