I never really got into it but my older sister loved it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

In high school, one of my nicknames was "Starsky," so I think you have my answer.

Never fails to impress...what an awesome ride...

Do you get tons of attention driving it? Does it bother you after a while?

How often you drive the Torino? You ever taken her to Highway 1?

            Gorgeous!

BTW, what's up with the Starsky/Hutch gay thing ?

Was it done on purpose back in the day ? ... or is it wishful thinking by current fans ?

Thanks Hector! Yeah, it does get a lot of attention. i'm actually surprised that people still remember the show. i don't drive it as much as i'd like to and yes i've taken her on highway 1.

by the way, how's your mustang coming along?

                  Thanks for the info...

Engine is done and installed. 302 crate engine (bored it .40 over), aluminum heads, four barrel Eldebrock carburetor, new OD transmission...all matched in freshly painted Ford Blue.

Interior was just painted all black.

                  Brand new air conditioning unit.

Everything under the Stang is brand new, leaf springs, suspensions, steering, front power breaks, etc...

Ready to install insulated sound deadeners. Good to ease down on vibration too...and keep out both cold and hot. All new interior, ready for installation.

                  Ready for paint...all bodywork done.

Probably after the holidays...early next year.

Still debating on color...will start a thread on what colors people like. I personally have it down to three looks, Viper Red, all Wimbledon White...or a combination of Wimbledon White with Blue Le Mans racing stripes....

Like the A-Team, I loved it as a kid, but find it hard to watch now.
As a kid, I could only watch it on French TV, dubbed. The voices were terrible, and they changed that exciting "chase" theme into something sung by some Frenchmen going "Starksky et Utch, they have very exciting adventures..." Bloody awful. Years later, I heard the original theme and went "oh, yeah, this is what it should be!"
                    .
                    .
                    .
"When things are at their darkest, it's a brave man that can kick back and party."

I'm almost afraid to admit it, but I've never seen a full episode in my life. I was never much into cop shows, the only one I remember watching was CHiPs (and Barney Miller if you want to count that)

                                Isn't your Torino smog exempt?

I love white on cars, my F150 is white. Would be nice to have matching white cars, lol. Still thinking on the Le Mans racing stripes...it's more of a fastback look, but still looks nice on a coupe.

My wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust D's...it has that classic Bullitt look...
