Cannon Films documentary...

Anyone with Netfix seen the documentary Electric Boogaloo the wild and Untold story of Cannon Films.
As a kid growing up in the 80's I loved those campy movies and still watch alot of them to this day. I didn't even realize they made so many films in such a short period of time!
What's your favorite Cannon Film?

Yes! Been waiting for this to show up on Netflix. I'll probably watch it tomorrow.

I watched it last weekend, I thought it was great. But considering how much material they had to cover, I wish it was longer.

well. of course they did. Fits right in with their M.O. Boogaloo was pretty good, I forgot how many b-movies they cranked out. Bet Spider-Man would have made the 70s tv show look good.

They may have made a lot of sub-par films, but Masters of the Universe made up for it. Despite it's shortcomings it's still an incredibly well made film with great performances, great special effects, and an awesome score by Bill Conti.

Yeah, I heard that, it was a very Cannon thing for them to do. Haven't seen it yet but I want to.

I haven't seen the documentary but Cannon was a fun company. My favorite Cannon films are:

Operation Thunderbolt
Death Wish 3-it's so bad it's funny
Masters of the Universe
10 to Midnight

Yeah, Death Wish 3 is amazing.

I remember when I was a teenager my father came home from the video store with Death Wish 1, 2 & 3. I had never seen any of them (I think the third one had just been released on video). We had a fun Saturday watching all of them!

William Conrad was great as detective Cannon. They made nice cameras too.

The film studio? Okay, Death Wish 1-2 were awesome, they should have stopped after that
didn't they make some Chuck Norris movies too?

My favourites would have to be MOTU, Lifeforce, the Death Wish sequels and Cobra.

Revenge of the Ninja
Ninja 3 the domination were godlike movies I watched on a daily basis in my childhood. Of course I watched them recently and could see how campy they really were tha I never noticed as a kid. But I would watch them over 98% of movies that are released nowdays.
I saw Breakin one and 2 in the theatre and people actually got up and started dancing! Good times!

Yeah I bought the dvd at Wal-mart for around $5 just to notice the have now included it with a collection of there movies.
