Martin E. Brooks, best known as the third actor to portray scientist Dr. Rudy Wells in the 1970's TV series 'The Six Million Dollar Man' and its spin-off 'The Bionic Woman' has passed away at the age of 90. Martin Balsam originated the role in the 1973 TV movie, followed by Alan Oppenheimer, then Brooks. Rest in peace, Mr. Brooks. You've earned it.

He had just turned 90 on November 30. Oppenheimer's the only Rudy Wells we have left now, at least until the character is recast for 'The Six Billion Dollar Man' feature film.Comment

all of our childhood heroes are dying off. I guess that is the circle of life but it is sad. he was my favorite Rudy Wells too. RIP!Comment

Yeah, he was good on the "SMDM" & "Bionic Woman"...
As a side-note for 70s Sci-Fi TV fans, Martin played two different apes (a chimp and a gorilla) on the "Planet of the Apes" series: Dr. Leander in "The Surgeon" and "Konag" in "Up Above The World So High"...Comment
