Is your Christmas tree up yet

We put ours up Monday, but always wait a couple days to let the cats get their curiosity out of their system before we decorate it. So it was finished today and they are looking greedily at the tinsel and shiny ornaments.
Is yours a real tree or fake ?

    Going up today. Artificial.

Thankfully I put the house lights up last Saturday....it's been pouring all day and not supposed to stop for a week. -Chris

we gave up on real trees years ago. too much mess to cleanup, can't keep it up as long and they were getting so damn expensive. we have two artificial. we always put our trees up the day after Thanksgiving. one in the living room and one in the man cave. we actually bought a new one this year for the living room. it's a much nicer looking fake tree, it actually looks real. cost more but was worth it

Nope, going up Christmas Eve. I'll probably purchase it the Sunday before, and store it in my wheelchair lift. It will be outdoors locked in the lift and no one can get to it. Then on Christmas Eve I'll bring it in and decorate it.

We put ours up the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so it's been up for a week now. Everything else takes a bit more time. I just came in from putting up outside lights.

Maybe tomorrow. I always go a little late because of the cats.

The tree went up two nights ago, but I started on the dining room and kitchen decorations like a week ago.

The real one is set up outside on the front porch.

My wife has finished decorating the trees in the living room and the breakfast nook; there is a third in our front room upon which I think she is still working.

We have four more lighted trees as part of our life-size Santa vignette in the upper level of our foyer. That display has two less trees than previously, in order to accommodate the new sleigh element. We have two other full-scale Santas still in the basement; I don't know when/where they will be set up.

I know that is only eight trees so far. Last year I recall the final number was twelve, and I suspect there will another appearing in the master bedroom before Christmas.

One of these trees was set up the weekend before Thanksgiving, with an "Autumn" theme instead of a Christmas one. We started early particularly for the enjoyment of the cats to "hide in the woods" to counteract their heightened stress and destabilized hierarchy by the new foster cat hidden away in the Sanctuary Room. After Thanksgiving Day, my wife was able to enjoy redecorating it for the upcoming holiday.

So, yeah, our Christmas "tree" (singular) is up. As is that one, and that one, and THAT one...

                          My wife LOVES Christmas.

I haven't done the tree thing in a long time.

I put up the wreaths and some decorations around Thanksgiving and set up the little artificial tree a couple of days ago.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
