Absolutely LOVE "Bad Santa"! It's my movie I watch every year at Christmas to put me in the holiday mood. I know, weird movie for that, but for some reason, it does the trick. Another movie that I watch, usually on Christmas Eve only is a Disney flick from a few years back called "One Magic Christmas" starring Mary Steenburgen as an Ebeneezer Scroogish type woman who's pretty much lost the Christmas spirit and Harry Dean Stanton as the angel Gideon who helps her to find it again.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Hallmark Channel Junkie! Well, at Christmas time, anyway. The 3 Hallmark Christmas movies that are my favorite are:
        The Christmas Card
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
        A Very Merry Mix-Up

        Other movies are:
        Miracle on 34th Street
The Littlest Angel (Hallmark movie from early 70s)
        The Santa Clause 1&2
        Jack Frost
        Comfort & Joy (Lifetime movie)
        Ebbie (Lifetime Movie)
        Prancer
        A Christmas Star
        A Christmas Story
        Santa Clause Conquers the Martians

And of course all the Rankin-Bass TV specials, a Charlie Brown Christmas, and Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer!

There are four versions I can think of -- which two are your faves?

                      -A Christmas Story
-A Christmas Carol (George C Scott, the definitive version of this Dickens classic!)

-Miracle On 34th Street (original B&W)

                      -Holiday Inn
                      -Christmas In Connecticut (Stanwyck)

Other specials I try to watch:

The Shop Around the Corner--anytime, anywhere, but especially the holidays. Perfection.
                        A Christmas Story
                        Scrooge (musical)
A Christmas Carol (I like Scott's, and MGM)
                        Miracle on 34th Street (original)
                        The Bishop's Wife
Bad Santa--I can't resist it lol.

And R-B's "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "The Year Without a Santa Claus", plus Peanuts & the animated Grinch.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

1947 and 1994 versions. I did not know there were others...

                          Edit:
Yeah, there are two more movies and several TV shows. You learn something new every day.

And I am going to buck a trend and admit that I like the 94 version a teeny bit more than the original. There I said it...

                            the Rankin Bass Specials
I don't consider Die Hard or Batman returns or Gremlins to be Christmas movies. that is not what those movies are about, they just take place during the holiday. although I guess in fairness the same could be said about other movies on my list, LOL
