Full episodes of Johnny Carsonl to air nightly on Antenna TV

Starting in the New Year, the Antenna TV channel will air full episodes of Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show" each weeknight at 10 pm (Central).

I believe I will find very difficult to choose between that nostalgia and the nightly line-up on Comedy Central. That was some of the best that television ever offered.

After John Stewart left I find myself watching Comedy Central very little - except for the occasional South Park

"Carsonl" -- ugh, sorry. I try, so very hard, to check for typos in the title whenever I start a new thread, as I personally find it annoying to read those common "blights" when scrolling through topic titles. This one slipped past me -- probably just karma intending to drive me nuts.

You can edit your thread title

Think it might be in advanced edit

Trevor Noah has filled those shoes most admirably, and Larry Wilmore is possibly the most genuine person I have ever seen on television, with opinions and perspectives that the entire world should be seeing, IMHO. And I cannot miss a single episode of @Midnight -- if I fall asleep (so very, very late!), I rewatch it On Demand the next day, or manage to binge them all before week's end.

            You are correct. Fixed.

Now everyone else's mistakes are going to bug me even worse, as they are not permanent.

EDIT: False. The thread still has the error in the title. So it's just going to bother me until it gets buried.

They may be edited for time constraints. Remember, early TV shows had more content then commercials. I know that when the stations like Antenna were airing Batman and other older shows they were edited so that they can fit twice the amount of commercials than used to be aired back in the day.

Their eyes can't hope to see
              The beauty that surrounds them
              Isn't it a pity".

I have the same problem choosing between Doctor Who on Retro TV and Hogan's Heroes on ME TV.

I own all of Hogan's Heroes on DVD, so this is a problem I never face.

I wonder if they will be showing them in order every night, like a solid week at a time? I'm not certain if I can watch it every night, maybe once in awhile.

Don't like Hogans Heroes, so it's gonna be Johnny weeknight at 10! Yay!

This is now being covered as a morning local news story this entire week, with additional details as well as interviews with Doc Severenson and other show regulars.

Apparently, these are going to be full original episodes, many of which have never before been rerun after their original airing. Carson invested in an underground salt mine in the middle of Nevada, where the original films have been stored in the stable facility; these are being digitized for rebroadcast and will see the light of day again.
