    The wind is howling

The storm is over Lake Michigan. Between now and Friday morning, 20+ foot waves are predicted. Local piers, boardwalks, and lakeshore roads are being closed as 60+ mph winds approach. The last time I went wave watching, the wind was only 35-40 mph and the waves were washing over the lighthouse. I would love to get photos tomorrow, from a safe spot near downtown, of course. The channel curves, so one can stand on the sidewalk at the top of the hill way above the boardwalk and, with a big lens, still get a great view of the piers and lighthouse.

That storm is heading our way, we are supposed to be getting strong winds like that tomorrow. I live a few blocks away from Lake Erie, I'm sure it's gonna sound angry!

The waves have died down for a while. But at times, the catwalk is still completely underwater.

We had some major winds here in the bellybutton of the US last night. Nothing as spectacular as the wave on the lighthouse, but I did have to go and gather my quidditch goals and trash can from all over the neighborhood this morning. Still can't find one of the trash can lids.

It's terrible on Ohio today. I walked outside and there are signs blown down all over the place.

That's crazy. My parents have a lake house just south of South Haven. They're not beach front, but I know a couple of people who do have property on the lake are definitely concerned about this storm. We're all waiting on pictures to see how much damage has occurred.

Sorry but I LOVE a good storm. Probably because we hardly ever get them over here. This country is SOOOO boring on every level possible! Geez!

Don't want anyone to get hurt or lots of damage or anything like that of course, just a good howling storm,s'all. lol

We're getting it pretty good in Port Elgin (Lake Huron) 100km/hr winds predicted, it was insane just crossing the street at lunch
